June 29 – We attended Sabah Youth Leader Form (SYLE) 2009 at Dewan Saadah, Wisma Muis, Kota Kinabalu. This forum is jointly organised by Sabah Youth Council, KBSS & JBS.

Business Networking & Campaign in Manila

May 18 - We landed in Clark, Philippines. Daniel, Nicholas, Gary & Melvin had a big pizza (17″) dinner. Below we took the pizza photo is 28″ packaging!

May 19 – We bought ticket to Manila, Capital of Philippines. One way ticket per person is 123 pesos.

In Manila we visited JCI Philippines HQ. Thanks for JCI Capitol be our transportation… On the 2nd from right is Sonny, JCI Capitol Presidente.

Evening we met up Charlie (JCI Manila) at our hotel lobby.

8pm - We went to Sonny’s House for business networking. Before that, we had a nice dinner.

Luncheon Talk

May 6 – We attended luncheon talk – Plastic: Issues & Alternatives. Organized by Environmental Action Committee – Sabah.

Today talk is more on “Say No To Plastic”, we knew more about the fact of plastics.

We Malaysia seems to be one of the larger plastic manufacturer & exporter in the world! We are producing RM1.8 billion plastic per annum; 80% is exporting and 20% is consumed by we Malaysian. I.e. we are consuming RM360 million plastic per annum.

Plastic will take time & resources to recycle it. So .. try to influence your friends and relatives, say No to Plastic.

Our Area Sabah Team has indicated to take part in this public awareness issue, to have road sshow during Jaycees week. Let’s support this event.

Reducing the consumption of plastic will bring us a better life quality.
