Luncheon Talk
May 6 – We attended luncheon talk – Plastic: Issues & Alternatives. Organized by Environmental Action Committee – Sabah.
Today talk is more on “Say No To Plastic”, we knew more about the fact of plastics.
We Malaysia seems to be one of the larger plastic manufacturer & exporter in the world! We are producing RM1.8 billion plastic per annum; 80% is exporting and 20% is consumed by we Malaysian. I.e. we are consuming RM360 million plastic per annum.
Plastic will take time & resources to recycle it. So .. try to influence your friends and relatives, say No to Plastic.
Our Area Sabah Team has indicated to take part in this public awareness issue, to have road sshow during Jaycees week. Let’s support this event.
Reducing the consumption of plastic will bring us a better life quality.
