JCI Kota Kinabalu — Four members from our chapter attended the 2012 Area Sabah Team Building Camp from March 31 to April 1, 2012 in Labuan, with JCI Sen. Teresa Alberto as head trainer. The camp was located on a gorgeous beach, with constantly blowing winds.
The trip began on Friday evening where we drove all the way to Menumbok Jetty to catch the speed boat to Labuan. Upon arrival, we were greeted by Jerry, Labuan’s IPP, who drove us to Beta Apartments, the place we will stay for the night, as well as the place Sabah team held their 2nd area meeting. The next morning, we quickly grabbed breakfast, packed and went on our way to the campsite. JCI Kota Kinabalu conducted its first training for the year 2012, organized by its 2012 chapter Vice President, Vitalis Ronald, on March 6, 2012 at its Secretariat.
Our invited trainers were JCI Sen. Donald Stephens and JCI Sen. Daniel Wong. JCI Sen. Donald conducted the New Member Orientation for us, while JCI Sen. Daniel trained us on Project Planning.
We also invited members from local LOMs, including JCI Penampang, JCI Intan, and JCI Masterskill KK. Among those present, NEVP JCI Mem. Heneritta Gunting was also there to grace this event. Read more »
